"Everyday Faith for Men"
Lent is a season in the church year when we take time to slow down and reflect on our journey with Christ. Men may find it particularly challenging to do those things in our fast-paced world. Associate Rector, Allan Sandlin, and a team of lay leaders invite you to join us on Sunday mornings during Lent for an open-ended conversation about different aspects of our lives as Christian men. The class begins on the first Sunday in Lent, Feb. 10, and continues through March 16.Location: Trinity House
Contact: The Reverend Allan Sandlin
Newcomers Class
This class introduces newcomers to Holy Trinity and its history in Decatur, reviews Episcopal Church history, and looks at Holy Trinity's ministries. This class meets for four weeks. Anyone new to Holy Trinity, anyone who still feels "new", or anyone who just happens to be a bit curious is welcome to join the group. This is a fantastic way to meet new people, to become more familiar with what Holy Trinity has to offer, and to pick-up a little bit of Holy Trinity history. Please join us!Location: Gaylord Room

Newcomers Reception

"Faith and Life"
This course, also known as the Inquirer's Class, offers a journey through the Anglican faith with attention to Scripture, history, worship and the life of the Episcopal Church today. Those new to the church and those interested in baptism or confirmation are especially invited to participate although the class is open to all.
The spring 2008 Faith and Life class begins on Sunday, March 2. The class will use John Westerhoff's book, Living Faithfully as a Prayer Book People, as a resource to explore life centered around the Book of Common Prayer. This class is excellent for newcomers, for those who seek baptism, confirmation or reception into the Episcopal Church, and for those who simply want to learn more about the Episcopal Church. With the use of Westerhoff's book, the course is also intended for church members who want to explore Anglican spirituality.
The meeting time and place will be on Sunday mornings at 9:15 in the second floor Gaylord Room.
