Community Outreach

Blood Drive

At least one Sunday a year, our Parish hosts a LifeSouth blood drive. Blood donors and volunteers to assist are needed.  Contact David Probst for more information.

Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts

Holy Trinity Parish sponsors Boy Scout Troop 6 and Cub Scout Pack 306. We are involved in all phases of scouting, including camping and hiking. Come join in the teaching of Scout values and skills.

Holy Trinity Initiative for Affordable Housing

Holy Trinity housed a displaced New Orleans survivor through this organization for three months following Hurricane Katrina. The individual went on to make Atlanta home and found permanent employment and housing.

Hunger Walk

Holy Trinity parishioners participate in the annual Hunger Walk in downtown Atlanta each March to benefit the Atlanta Food Bank. Additionally, Hunger Awareness workshops through the Atlanta Food Bank are offered bi-annually.

Christmas Outreach

Parishioners participate in a variety of Christmas Outreach activities, which include a toy drive to benefit children in Chris Homes, Emmaus House grandparent caregiver parties in downtown Atlanta, cap and mitten drives to benefit the children in Our House, and others.

Holy Trinity Counseling Center

The Holy Trinity Counseling Center is a non-profit agency that is affiliated with Holy Trinity Parish.  The counseling center offers consultation, referral, and ongoing therapy to individuals, couples, and families of all ages.

Hagar's House

Holy Trinity provides two weeks of meals annually at Hagar's House Shelter for Homeless Mother's and Children through Decatur Cooprtative Ministries. For one week in the spring and one week in the fall, different Sunday school groups, youth groups or collection of volunteer parishioners shop for, prepare, serve and share dinner with Hagar's House guests to help battle homelessness in our community. Our next week is October 28-November 3. Click here for a list of instructions regarding serving dinner at Hagar's House. Look for the sign-up sheet in the library beginning Oct. 7. Contact Paul Salter for more information.

Accessibility Ministries

Holy Trinity is the only Episcopal Church in Atlanta providing sign-language interpretation for Sunday services at 10:30 and five feast days, including Christmas and Easter. The parish makes every effort to enhance the understanding and enjoyment of our services and social functions on behalf of persons with disabilities.

Fall School Supply Drive

Holy Trinity collects school supplies each fall for Hagar's House children. Check the bulletin for dates in August and September.
