Holy Trinity Parish Preschool Classes
Because we are offering low student/teacher ratios, there are more opportunities for individualized educational plans. Each student will be challenged in the areas of language arts, math, science, and social studies. Every class will allow for each child to be challenged. Our goal is to have an individualized program within classroom themes.Our location, in the heart of Decatur, provides unique opportunities for learning experiences in the community.
Registration is currently underway for the 2008-2009 school year with only a few spaces left. (For tuition fees for each class, see our registration page.) We offer the following classes:
Kindergarten Readiness
For four year olds. This class follows guidelines for Georgia Pre-K programs. For those who just miss the public school deadline we offer further resources in math and science. There are specials for all students in music and in Spanish. This class is full for the 2008-2009 school year but call to be put on our waiting list.
Preschool Prep
For those who are three by Sept. 8 (our first day of school). Children must be potty trained. This class also has specials in music and Spanish. The focus of this class is communication (using words instead of physical responses), developing community, and exploring personal and group creativity. It is also full for the 2008-2009 school year, but call to be put on our waiting list.
Mix-It-Up
For 3 year olds with two to choose from (we still have a few openings). Children come to school Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. This class follows Creative Curriculum guidelines and focuses on creating a sense of group, developing a sense of self and exploring the community and the world.
Little Bits
For 2 year olds. We have a few openings in either our Monday/Wednesday/Friday or Tuesday/Thursday schedules. Children learn to play together and make friends. We were amazed this year with the amount of learning and growing our 2 year olds achieved!
Wiggle, Wobbles
For 14 to 20 months. We still have a few spots left for Tuesdays/Thursdays. Children begin to interact with one another, they explore movement and motion and develop their motor skills.
All children (except the youngest) have access to our computer lab.
